"Debts," a new story in the VINLANDERS' SAGA, came out in the October 2009 issue of TALES OF THE TALISMAN.
I'll be speaking and reading from my current work in progress at TusCon Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Convention on November 12 - 14, 2010.
A little bit about me:
My dad was career Air Force, so we'd moved three times before I was ten. I fell in love with Science-fiction and Fantasy at an early age, captured by the wonder of exploring strange new worlds, the mysteries of magic, and the heroic virtues of honor and duty. Though I'd always enjoyed the romantic elements in the stories I'd read (Faramir and Eowyn, F'lar and Lessa) I discovered Romance as a genre much later, with its power of transforming love (and sensual delights).
Now I tell my own tales, blending the two genres together with a healthy dose of mystery. I write across the spectrum, from historical, to romantic suspense, to erotic -- but always with an otherworldly twist.
I live with my husband in the desert southwest. Our back yard is frequented by such visitors as quail, snakes, bunnies, bobcats, and hawks. Unfortunately, they don't all play nice together, so Spot, the gila monster, and Rasputin, the gopher, tend to keep their heads down.
Spot, asking to be let in the kitchen door. We said, No.
