The first novel in the VINLANDERS' SAGA

Beth Hart is dead and she’s looking for her killer.
When Beth’s rich brother-in-law falls down a mine shaft, the sheriff calls Chris Pontifore’s death an accident. Then Chris's widow, Beth’s identical twin Ellie, is killed in another so-called “accident.” Stunned by her loss, Beth impulsively switches identities with her sister to lure the killer into revealing himself. But Ellie isn’t gone. She can’t rest until Beth finds the killer, and haunts her sister’s dreams. To make matters worse, Beth has to deceive Jason, her former lover, because she doesn’t trust him to keep her secret.
Grieving for both Chris and Beth, Jason is appalled when he finds himself attracted to “Ellie,” the pregnant widow of his best friend. He wants to help her, but something just doesn’t add up. Jason begins to wonder what secrets the widow is hiding. Then another attempt is made on “Ellie’s” life, and Jason must accept the unbelievable to save both their lives.

Jared Price is a Celestial, one of a race of beings often taken for angels. Exiled on earth, he's offered a chance to return to the Celestial Realm. All he has to do is protect Cassie Lewis from a demonic assassin.
A genuine psychic, Cassie is attracted to Jared, but she doesn’t trust him. He's hiding something behind his strong mental barriers and she's learned the hard way that what you don't know can hurt you. But when someone tries to kill her, and the police prove no help, Cassie doesn’t have anyone else to turn to.
